About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Renewal & Account Growth Manager to temporarily cover a maternity leave and to lead our field-based commercial team across France. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer retention, account expansion, and revenue growth within our existing B2B client portfolio.
Leading a team of sales and account management professionals, you will play a key role in strengthening long-term client relationships, improving renewal performance, and developing strategic growth opportunities across the market.
This position requires a strong combination of leadership, commercial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on coaching.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8+ field sales and account management professionals across France.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on customer retention, upselling, and account growth.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, ensuring the achievement of renewal, expansion, and win-back objectives.
- Conduct regular one-to-one coaching sessions and field visits to support team members during client meetings when needed.
- Assess individual performance and support continuous professional development across the team.
Customer Retention & Revenue Growth
- Own and manage the performance of an existing B2B client portfolio, including caterers and event venues.
- Drive customer retention strategies to maximize contract renewals and long-term client value.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Lead win-back initiatives to re-engage lost or inactive customers.
- Ensure all renewal and account management activities are executed within company timelines and standards.
Commercial Strategy & Business Operations
- Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
- Use data-driven insights to guide commercial actions and optimize team effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, commercial policies, and operational procedures.
- Provide regular reporting on team performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
International Collaboration
- Actively participate in international business meetings by sharing results, performance analysis, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to support company growth objectives.
SUCCESSFUL RENEWALS MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership role, including direct team management responsibility.
- Proven track record of successfully leading
