Why This Role Matters
As a Loan Advisor Assistant, you are often the first meaningful touchpoint for borrowers exploring specialty loan options such as construction, renovation, and chattel financing. Your role is essential in ensuring borrowers feel supported, informed, and properly connected to licensed loan advisors who can deliver the right loan solutions. By driving lead conversion and maintaining compliance, you directly impact both customer experience and production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and convert specialty leads (construction, renovation, and chattel) provided by the company into qualified mortgage applications
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach, averaging 40–50 calls per day, while maintaining a professional and consultative approach
- Interview prospective borrowers to gather financial and credit information
- Seamlessly connect qualified borrowers with licensed loan advisors for next-step consultations
- Maintain strong working knowledge of specialty lending programs and eligibility requirements
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and company mortgage regulations and policies
- Maintain required state mortgage licensing standards applicable to the role
- Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager and Loan Advisors on lead conversion performance and loan status
- Work toward monthly production and conversion goals
- Support additional responsibilities based on experience and competencies
What You Bring
- Active NMLS license preferred, licensed in at least one state
- Candidates who have passed the NMLS SAFE Exam and require sponsorship will also be considered
- High School Diploma or GED required
