Geo Tech II

Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Geo Tech II to join our dynamic team in support of the I-ATLAS program remotely or at our Kiln, MS office. This position reports to the Geospatial Team Leader and is responsible for processing and editing bathymetric and topographic lidar data. Qualified candidates will have interest or experience in coastal mapping and lidar processing. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do:

• Process navigation and GPS data.
• Organize, process, and analyze bathymetric lidar data and imagery.
• Edit processed lidar datasets.
• Document data processing issues.
• Identify issues with the sensors.
• Identify new processes and procedures within a project.
• Assist NAVO, USACE and other clients with data processing.
• Provide data acquisition support as backup to field employees.
• Provide processing support when necessary, during I-ATLAS disaster response situations.
