ERP Operations Test Analyst

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a ERP Operations Test Analyst to bridge the gap between our operational teams and technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system functions flawlessly and aligns perfectly with day-to-day business operations. You will work closely with department heads, end-users, and the IT development team to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies for ERP upgrades, custom modifications, and new module implementations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners:
  • Review requirements with Product Owners.
  • Review test plan alignment with Product Owner requirements.
  • Audit and maintain test plans.
  • Audit test executions.
  • Provide direct and constructive feedback to Figma design, Jira user stories and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate test plan risk assessments with Product Owners
• Be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and optimizing processes.
• Perform rigorous functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across various ERP modules (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management).
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with operational end-users, providing guidance, documentation, and support to ensure thorough validation.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and system bottlenecks using tools like Jira / Confluence. Work closely with technical teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Process Mapping & Validation: Analyze current operational workflows to ensure the ERP software accurately supports and optimizes business processes.
• Validate data migration and integration between the ERP system and peripheral operational tools or third-party applications.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Infor) in a testing, business analysis, or super-user capacity.
• Testing Knowledge: Proven experience in software testing methodologies, writing test scripts, and executing structured QA processes.
• Strong familiarity with operational workflows (e.g., warehouse management, supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing).
• Proficiency with defect tracking and project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Solid understanding of data structures; basic SQL knowledge for data validation is a strong plus.
• Ability to perform basic scripting analysis, utilize browser developer tools for debugging, and conduct API testing using Postman and standard web protocols.
