About the Role

As a distribution analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Directors of Distribution in the day-to-day operations of our Line Hauls, routing, fleet management, backhaul and safety programs for DBM (direct by misfits). The Distribution Analyst is accountable for meeting or exceeding all operational goals through strong interpersonal communication, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate builds strong professional relationships across departments, is an agent of change, and prioritizes the safety of both our team and our customers.

Responsibilities

• Team Support: Training, coaching, fleet maintenance, dispatch, and routing to maintain high performance and morale.
• Operational Oversight: Managing daily line haul routing, backhaul/DBM daily route completion, Vehicle PM's.
• Inventory Management: Overseeing Fleet rental usage and utilization accuracy.
• Logistics Coordination: Organizing, scheduling, and tracking carrier shipments, including optimizing routes and transit times.
• Efficiency Improvement: Using data and analytics (TMS/Jalapeno systems) to identify bottlenecks, improve productivity, and manage workflows.
• Ensure that every team member complies with all DOT, OSHA and Misfits Market safety standards at all times. This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the forklift is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of warehouse traffic, using the correct signalling and sounding of protective devices on the forklift, using proper lifting form, and maintaining a clean, secure facility.
• Monitor and assess team performance against established KPIs. Implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operations.
